  • Eric Alexander

Eric hails from outside Philadelphia, or maybe outside Boston, or maybe outside DC (it depends on when you ask him). He will likely be heading to graduate school next year to study artificial intelligence, hopefully along the lines of commonsense reasoning.

  • Ben Cochran

Ben was born and raised in Cushing, Oklahoma. He stumbled upon Carleton College and never looked back. Freshman year he started working for the Web Services Group at Carleton doing development and a little design. After teetering between Studio Art and Computer Science he landed on the CS side although his interest is still shared. He is hoping to find a job with the prefect blend of development and interface design. Oh, and he has a website if you’re curious.

  • Wade Gobel

Wade Gobel hails from New Haven, CT, where he took his first computer science course in high school and discovered his passion for the subject. In his free time, he has implemented several simple games in Java, including checkers, chess, and Minesweeper (along with an automated MinesweeperSolver). Outside of CS, he enjoys contra dancing, memorizing and singing songs, attending live theater, and acting in plays. If he had one wish, he would wish for infinite wishes. Then he'd wish for the Seinfeld scene transition music to play every time he entered a room. Then, after a week, he'd get sick of it and wish for it to stop.

  • Eric Handler

In West(ern subarbs) of Philadelphia born and raised, Eric Handler spends most of his days chillin out maxin relaxin all cool writing some code in the back of the school. When a couple a guys who were up to some good, started makin iPhone apps in his neighborhood… he got one little server and his SysAdmin got scared…

  • Jake Kring

Jake was born and raised in Philadelphia, where he attended Central High School. At Carleton, he declared Computer Science despite having no experience in programming, and he hasn't looked back since. He studied abroad twice, spending time in Turkey, Morocco, Jordan and Egypt, and developing a conversational grasp of Egyptian Colloquial Arabic. He is the senior-most Sculpture and Woodshop monitor at Carleton, and he's responsible both for insuring the safe use of tools in the shop, and for coaching students of 3-dimensional studio art in their creative enterprises. He's spent the last couple of summers leading a month-long outdoor leadership program for 16 to 18 year-olds on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington.

  • Chris Peck

Born and raised in Saudi Arabia. My interest in computers and computer science began when a local BBS started hosting LORD. I am currently interested in learning more about web development and digital electronics. I am also interested in economics. Additionally, I enjoy playing water polo and the bassoon.
