I’ve chosen thresholds for each letter grade. My conclusion is that rather than a 30-minute quiz, this ended up being more like a 35-minute quiz. Accordingly, I’ve scaled my thresholds down as if it were worth about 26 points (this does not impact the quiz grading itself). All that is to say, here are the minimum points to achieve each letter grade:

If you got a score lower than what you’d hoped, I love to see you more in office hours! Quiz 2 will be a blank slate – I’ll try as much as possible not to rely on knowledge from Quiz 1, so you can start fresh! (And, of course, you can always re-take Quiz 1 during the final.)
