Today in class I said that you could not use a combination of lists and min to find the minimum of the series of numbers. Given a bit more thought, I think that was unfair.

For problem 1 of assignment 2, you should feel free to use any technique that you find that works (given that you did not search for the solution online or solicit other unacceptable help, such as asking your CS-major friend) – if you find it in a future chapter of the textbook, or I said it in class, that is fair game. For your own knowledge, just make sure you understand why it works. :)
