CS 117: Electronically Submitting Your Work

To turn in files for grading:
  1. Close BlueJ completely.
  2. Double-click on "My Computer", double-click again on the "K" drive, then double-click again on the name of your BlueJ project.

  3. Leave this window open and double-click on "My Computer" again. Find your submision folder (follow this path by double-clicking):

    S: (MOO Usr) -> Students -> Homework  -> CS117 -> your username

  4. Using the RIGHT mouse button, right-click and drag each of the ".java" files from your project directory to your submission directory. Choose "Copy Here" when the popup menu appears.

    NOTE: IF YOU MOVE THE FILE OR USE THE LEFT-CLICK, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ACCESS THE FILE AGAIN!

  5. You will NOT be able to see the files you put in there.  This is normal.  However, you cannot put two things with the same name in the folder.  So for the grader to see the most recent version of a document, called myfile.txt, call the updated one myfile1.txt.  General policy is to grade the version with the highest number.

  6. The time of most recent modification is available to the grader. Deadlines are upheld.
