MAT 223: Multivariable Calculus

With the exception of survey1, all other items should be completed before next class. There is nothing to hand in.

1. Read the syllabus (the course web page). Bring questions you have to class on Day 2. You will sign something in the next item to indicate you read and agree with the syllabus.
2. I would like to get to know each of you a bit. Find survey1 on Moodle and fill it out by Day 3.
3. Read textbook section 9.2. Always pre-read the section(s) to be covered the next class. I will not explicitly list this starting next homework.
4. Install Mathematica. Instructions and resources (log in with Bethel username and password) can be found on the Bethel network.
5. Watch Hands-on Start to Mathematica video if you want a refresher, or if it's new to you.

   Note: when using Mathematica for our class, use correct Wolfram Language syntax. Do NOT use the "free-form input" mentioned in the video.

6. Start working on hw03, which is especially long.
