Notes

• Always pre-read the section(s) to be covered the next class. I will not explicitly list this starting next homework.
• Unless otherwise stated, turn in your homework at the beginning of next class.
• Some guidelines for written homework:
  • If you need multiple pages, they must be stapled.
  • Your name, PO number, and assignment number (hw02 for this assignment) must be clearly written at the top right corner.
  • You must use 8.5 by 11 paper. Do not use smaller sizes: it makes it hard for the graders as they shuffle through the papers multiple times.
  • You may write on both sides of the page.
  • Do not place problems side by side; go down the page. (Side by side problems slow the graders down too much, and sometimes are missed completely.)
  • Leave a blank line between problems so that the graders can write comments if needed.
