The Comps
This website contains the results of a 2018-2019 Computer Science comps project. The goal of this comps was
to explore, understand, and communicate the technical details and practical applications of the blockchain
data structure. To accomplish this goal, we began by reading a host of academic papers on blockchains (see
our
annotated bibliography). Then, we created a
blockchain FAQ and an
interactive blockchain simulation.
Finally, we wrote an
opinion paper outlining our view of the current
state of blockchains as well as their future potential.
